Something little which was Big

“It seems, then,” said Tirian,” that the stable seen from within and the stable seen from without are two different places.”

”Yes,” said the Lord Digory. “Its inside is bigger than its outside.”

“Yes,” said Queen Lucy. “In our world too, a stable once had something inside it that was bigger than our whole world.”—C.S. Lewis, The Last Battle

The Common Room: Four Moms Talk Thanksgiving Prep

how I enjoyed this post, especially...

"Sometimes we have dressed as pilgrims and Indians for Thanksgiving. There was the memorable year my husband answered the door in a loin cloth and warpaint and it was his boss... (yes, the HM was really wearing more than a loin cloth. There were feathers.)"

The Common Room: Four Moms Talk Thanksgiving Prep: "It's another Four Moms Thursday, and this week, we discuss Thanksgiving Preparation- which could mean ideas for food, could be about prep,..."

Sunday August 29th, we joined in membership at Trinity Lutheran Church in Saint Joseph. Here I post the lyrics to a song (you can click on link below).

In the best sense, communities of Christian faith help one another feel less obscure, less lost in a sea of faces. This is a great song. Hope you enjoy it.

"Sea Of Faces"

I see the city lights all around me
Everyone's obscure
Ten million people each with their problems
Why should anyone care
And in Your eyes I can see

I am not just a man, vastly lost in this world
Lost in a Sea of Faces
Your body's the bread, Your blood is the wine
Because you traded Your life for mine

Sometimes my life it feels so trivial
Immersed in the greatness of space
Yet somehow you still find the time for me
then You show me Your love
And In Your eyes I can see
And in Your arms I will be

If only my one heart
Was all you'd gain from all it cost
Well I know you would have still been a man
With a reason To willingly offer your life

Kassidy age 4:

“rocks are heavier than sand and sand is just darkist lighting kind of sand Rocks are different from sand. sand falls faster than rocks but wet sand doesnt fall faster than rocks and rocks come from over or under the sand under the sand there might be shells or rocks. and rocks are heavier remember when david threw a rock with his slingshot rocks can hit someone in the forehead! and rocks are ~ if theres flat rocks or heavy rocks or round rocks i call flat rocks.”
